We are having a great year. We've concentrated on placing more wells in India, Ghana, Laos, Cambodia and Liberia. We were especially happy with a well we built in Liberia because it supplies water for a school with 660 students and teachers. Their closest water supply was a creek that was a 27-minute walk away. Water is so important for brain function as well as energy.
Latest Project
We've heard from some wonderful people this year,including Girl Scout Troop 1055 from Orlando, Florida. They wanted to build a cistern in China, so we just ordered theirs and ours. It's great when young people choose to participate in a humanitarian project such as this!
Sounds like some good leadership, too.
Speakers Bureau
In an effort to raise awareness of the staggering medical problems and death taking place in Third World villages, we recently started a Speakers Bureau and are available to speak to corporations, civic organizations, churches, and schools. Knowledge precedes action!
WOW Walk
Our WOW Walk 4 Water on Saturday, September 24th in Huntington Beach, California was a success. Join us if you can Aug. 25th 2012 for the next one!. We want to Thank Everyone who came down to walk with us !!
